Calling All Runners Ages 50+

Epic Races has partnered with the Michigan Senior Olympics, a nonprofit organization, to make the Ann Arbor Marathon 10K an official Michigan Senior Olympics championship race. Members who finish the 10K can win a Michigan Senior Olympics medal and become QUALIFIED for the 2027 National Senior Games in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Your route to Nationals runs through some of Ann Arbor's most beautiful miles, past the University of Michigan campus and downtown, with the crowds, music, and energy of race weekend all around you. [CONFIRM: swap in the specific 10K course highlights if they differ from the full course.]

How it works

• Become a member of the Michigan Senior Olympics (open to anyone ages 50+).
• Register for the Ann Arbor Marathon 10K.
• Finish, and you will receive a Michigan Senior Olympics finisher medal and be listed in the official Michigan Senior Olympics results book.
• You are also eligible for Ann Arbor Marathon age group awards, which run in five-year increments with awards for the top five in each group.

Stop by the MSO tent after your race. The Michigan Senior Olympics team will be onsite to hand out finisher medals and celebrate your run. [CONFIRM: tent location.]
